Pearson's Crystal Data: Release 2010/11
A new release 2010/11 of Pearson's Crystal Data (PCD), the well-known crystal structure
database for inorganic compounds, has just become
available. The new release contains more than 197,000 entries describing more than 118,000 different phases. Besides
this, the database provides roughly 14,500 experimental and about 169,000 calculated diffraction patterns. It achieves nearly full overlap with ICSD entries!
As usual, the PCD database comes with an innovative retrieval software for Windows
PCs developed by Crystal Impact. It offers a large variety of elaborate new features
which make retrieval of the desired information extremely easy and comfortable,
with "perpetual restrainting" still being our personal favourite.
Customers who are already using PCD can find prices for the update (which
is optional
- not mandatory) to the new release here.
