Pearson's Crystal Data: Release 2009/10
A new release 2009/10 of Pearson's Crystal Data (PCD), the well-known crystal structure
database for inorganic compounds, has just become
available. The new release contains more than 180,000 entries describing more than
100,000 different phases. Besides
this, the database provides roughly 14,000 experimental and about 167,000 calculated diffraction patterns. It achieves an ICSD coverage of more than 95 percent!
As usual, the PCD database comes with an innovative retrieval software for Windows
PCs developed by Crystal Impact. It offers a large variety of elaborate new features
which make retrieval of the desired information extremely easy and comfortable,
with "perpetual restrainting" still being our personal favourite.
Customers who are already using PCD can find prices for the update (which
is optional
- not mandatory) to the new release here.
